Latest News The Lord-Lieutenant’s Garden Party on June 27 was a huge success. 100 happy guests enjoyed sipping Prosecco in the LL’s romantic sunny garden in Whissendine.  A truly magical afternoon which raised over £1200 for the Arts Society Rutland and £900 for St Andrew’s Church. Rutland Decorative and Fine Art Society (RDFAS) was founded in 1988 and has over 265 members.  Our parent organisation changed their name in 2017 to The Arts Society and so we have changed our name too.  Our aims are the promotion of arts education, appreciation and preservation of our artistic heritage through lectures, visits and study days, and also through grants to Young Arts Projects. Gallery Exhibitions throughout Britain.  An excellent resource of major exhibitions coming up. Very useful if you are travelling around the country. Click here for the site
